FAQ's

Here are responses to common Frequently Asked Questions:

You are responsible for providing any insurance updates and responsible for fees associated.  

Co-pays are due at the time of service. If you need a special arrangement, please reach out.  

Cancellation and reschedule requests require 24 hours' notice and will be billed at the full rate of the session if less than 24 hours.  Emergencies are exceptions and fees will be waived on a case-by-case basis.   If you miss multiple sessions, you may be discharged. We will discuss if this is a consistent issue.  Please know that I respect your time and request the same courtesy.

Consistent appointments will be maintained for weekly and bi-weekly clients.

 

Emergency contacts are required for every client in my care for safety and security. Your wellbeing is my priority.  

 

There is no typical length of therapy.  It is curtailed to each person's unique needs and individual goals. Often times I recommend a titration from weekly counseling to bi-weekly and perhaps to monthly as progress is made and goals are met.

All clients are required to complete Informed Consent, Notice of Privacy Practices and a Client Intake Form prior to their first appointment. These can be provided on the patient portal or provided in person.

​Therapy is a fluid process and I want to help you meet your goals. Please let me know if your needs or goals change so we can adjust and reacclimate.
